Filling the “Caley” with the scents and sights of spring An added dimension comes to the 2007 Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society Spring Show next March, with the inclusion of a Floral Art competition. Running at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh’s Caledonian Hall on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 March, the show will also spotlight the work of 15 local schools and nurseries who are growing bowls of miniature daffodils in pursuit of the Scottish Daily Express Trophy Society.
Society President, George Anderson MBE will join the line-up of exhibitors competing for an impressive array of prizes and trophies. “I do enjoy the challenge of our Spring Flower Show and can guarantee that the Caledonian Hall will be filled to the brim and overflowing with the scents and sights of Spring”, he commented. New exhibitors are always given a particular welcome and anyone interested in competing can obtain a copy of the Show Schedule by downloading it from the Society’s Web Site: www.royalcaledonianhorticulturalsociety.org.
