A very warm welcome to the website of the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society. To navigate round the various information pages please use the buttons at the top of the pages. New users may like to try the extended site index. More information about the society and how to join are given on the information page.

New on the events page as well as society information is now news of local gardening events.

Those of you interested in Botanic Art should note the updated rules and regulations, together with an application form, for the 2007 Caley sponsored Botanic Art Exhibition. Please note that the exhibition ran from 2005  but, for the first year only, artists were included by invitation.

The other promotion on the features page is for the "Show Management Database". Have you ever wondered how societies keep track of entries and prizes at gardening shows? This is the tool that the Caley uses.

News: February 20, 2007. The Plant and Grow Certificate course is now available on CD. The official press release is planned to take place at Gardening Scotland. In the meantime a pilot release is available for purchase by contacting:

plant and grow contact Please see also the Plant and Grow pages on this site for more detailed information on how to obtain this Certificate CD ROM.

We hope you enjoy this visit and find it both interesting and informative. Please feed back comments to any of the Society Committee Members or use the direct e-mail link provided.
